FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q: How many photos can I expect?
A: A typical 7 hour wedding generally produces around 450+/- photos that are delivered, sometimes even more. Specific numbers are not guaranteed as there are many factors that can make that number higher or lower. For example, larger bridal parties mean more processional and recessional photos. Large families often mean more family formal photos etc. Rest assured that your day will be covered completely!
Q: How long will it take to get our photos?
A: We are happy to say that photos are typically delivered within 4-5 weeks of the wedding date! We try to be quick and not make you wait too long.
Q: Who will shoot our wedding?
A: Matthew exclusively shoots all weddings booked. If a second shooter is booked, Matthew is the primary photographer.
Q: How far out should I book my photographer?
A: On average couples book vendors around 8-9 months before their wedding but popular dates fill up fast so don't wait if you are sure you've found the right people!
Q: Do you charge a travel fee?
A: 100 miles round-trip are included with all wedding coverage. After that there is a fee of $1/mile or $1.50/mile if there are two photographers. 50 miles round-trip are included for engagement sessions.
Q: What is required for booking your services?
A: To book we will need a signed contract from you and a deposit. The deposit is 1/3 of the total amount of your selected wedding coverage and anything additional such as engagement sessions, albums etc. The remaining balance is due by the wedding day or before.
Q: What happens if you are sick or can't make it to our wedding?
A: Knock on wood, this has never happened, but in the unlikely event Matthew can't make the wedding he has a few options to find qualified photographers to take over. First choice would be one of Matthew's talented second shooters. We are also connected to a wide array of the areas best photographers that should be able to step in on short notice. If there is a worst case scenario, all money paid would be refunded, even if an engagement session had already been completed.
