Caley & John ~ A Concord, NH Wedding with some unique photo locations!

Caley and John were such a nice couple to work with. Everything was easy with them which always makes me more comfortable on a wedding day. Their day began at Saint Paul's Episcopal Church in Concord, NH. Caley had a nice big, bright room to get ready in with her girls which allowed for some maneuverability in getting some different angles. Caley had photos in mind and brought a standing mirror which is always a plus!

They didn't want to do a traditional "first look" but did want to talk to each other before the ceremony. On either side of a door they held hands and had a moment of quiet together before the craziness of the day began. I love these photos of them.

From the first time we spoke Caley & John had these railroad tracks in mind for some of their formal photos. I knew the general area they were talking about as Concord, NH isn't too far from me but to actually be there and photographing them there was quite a treat! Not only did it provide a truly unique background for them but we were lucky to have the best natural light at the best time of day too!

The reception was at the Grappone Conference Center in Concord. For me this kind of a space is great and it allows me some good lighting options since I use a lot of off camera flash. The formalities were great and the party got going soon after dinner. It's nice seeing everyone let loose after dinner. For wedding couples it must be a big relief that the stressful parts of the day are behind them.
