Arlenea & Luke Elope
I've known Arlenea for about a year now and it wasn't long after that I met her fiance, Luke. Arlenea and I joined a networking group in Hampton at the same time and I think it's safe to say we got along pretty well from the get go.
Somewhere within the first few months of being in our group Arlenea asked me if I would shoot their wedding and I was truly flattered. Luke is also a photographer (which made me nervous at first) but as I got to know them both more, I knew there wasn't going to be any issues. Luke and I talked shop on more than one occasion and my wife got to know them both too. At this point my wife and I, both, are honored to call them both good friends. I have stressed before that building a good relationship with clients is very important and this is a prime example of that. Well.. for me anyway! :)
As their wedding date drew closer their plans changed a little as they were in the process of trying to buy and new house, so they decided to scale down and make it a smaller affair with just their kids and a couple of close friends. They chose Odiorne Point State Park in Rye, NH right near the water. I LOVE this spot and often take drives along the coastline.
After their intimate ceremony we picked some spots for formal pictures and made it a laid back family photo session. The day was beautiful and I'm really happy with the shots we got. I hope you enjoy some from their day and congrats again you two!
