A Break From the Cold

March 11, 2014  •  1 Comment

For those of you in the north east it's been a long cold winter and it doesn't look like it's over just yet. However... spring can't be far away can it? My wife and I were lucky to have a short break from the cold and spent a few days with my folks down in warm, sunny southern Florida.

I've never been a huge Florida person but the warmth was fantastic and where we were staying certainly had it's perks! Thank you to my parents for renting a great house with a pool right on the water on Marco Island, which is just south of Naples. We spent time relaxing but I wanted to make sure to take some photos too. It's a change of scenery and as pretty as the New England area is to photograph in the winter, it's a struggle to battle the cold over and over again!

I hope you enjoy the photos and that they help warm you up a little. Either that or make you curse the cold even more!

Wonderful photos Matthew. You will have to come down again...there is so much more to photograph. The wild life especially is wonderful and the sunsets are incredible!
