Why the new Wilton Brothers Photography?
The new website has arrived and I hope you enjoy seeing all the new content and eCommerce features! Why a completely new website you may ask?
Well... Gareth and I started off on this adventure of building a wedding photography business together. I was on the road shooting the tv show "Ghosthunters" and was in desperate need to spend more time at home with my new wife, new house and dog without it being a week every once in a while. Gareth was having his own battles and wanted a new option for his future too. Thus we put together a website and decided to keep it strictly weddings and engagements. Along with this site we kept our own individual sites where we offered portrait, newborn, maternity photography and the rest. This was ok for a while but running two websites and keeping them current is a tough task and splitting efforts into both was not necessarily a recipe for success.
The biggest news came a couple of weeks ago... Gareth got a great career opportunity out of state that he just couldn't refuse... Hence a bit of a re-structuring!
With Gareth's future leading him down a new path I had to make the call to forge ahead with the company. It seemed logical to merge my personal work into the Wilton Brothers site with a fresh, new look. Weddings are still the specialty but now everything can be found in one place. Along with the new design I have a fantastic setup for print and product ordering. Unlike before my "perspective" work can be ordered easily right from the site along with client work as well. There are options for ordering T-shirts, key rings, mugs and more!
As it may appear now that Gareth is out of the picture I'm happy to say he won't be. For two photographer weddings he is often able to come up from DC to shoot and he remains a part of what we both began. On the cases that he can't I have a couple of great photographers that I work with.
I hope you enjoy the new site and look to Wilton Brothers Photography for your photographic needs!
