Brian and Cherise on the blog! The end of the fall foliage was just about upon us. In fact, where I live there was little left but brown. Without much color we decided to shoot Brian and Cherise's engagement session in Portsmouth NH where there is a lot of color in the architecture and a lot of history and areas that are great for a photo shoot. When we arrived, however, we we surprised to see there was still quite a bit of foliage left so we made the most of it and got a nice blend of foliage and city shots. We made a plan to start in the park near the south playground then work our way over to Prescott Park. My wife decided to come along for this one and was a great help (as always) with offering creative ideas while helping me with the external flash positioning. Brian and Cherise are such a great couple. Very easy to get along with and natural looking with their posing. I like to goof off and joke with couples to get them to loosen up but there wasn't too much extra effort needed with these two! Congratulations to you guys and I look forward to your wedding next year!
